I know what you guys are thinking about this photo. No! He is not my son. He is my nephew, (sister’s son) Kamal. He is a little smart engineer. He skipped all his pre-classes, and went directly to Upper Kindergarten. I had his picture on my television all the time. He is very special for me. He is the first little kid in our family. Kamil, means, “complete person.” He is four and a half years old. When he was born, I held him first and I saw his first smile with dimple cheeks. Kamil is determined to break things and put them together. This April, I went India. One day, my family and I went in the market to buy him a small toy scooter, which he had wanted. Within an hour after we brought the toy home, the parts of the scooter were spread on the floor and he was trying to put them back together. I told him, you did your job. He likes to play the big drum, my husband’s big keyboard, and he likes to dance. When my husband was trying to teach him writing, he wouldn’t let my husband free. All he wanted to do was write and write. My husband saw him doing his engineering work at my parents home. Then my husband and I bought him crayons and a drawing book. He started scribbling randomly, and made humans which looked like insects. I captured that drawing in my camera and my husband had that picture on his desktop. When we came back to the United States, we noticed he packed his pants in my husband’s suitcase. He thought he was coming with us. I wish I can bring him here.
